SSFF is a hybrid festival with options to attend in-person theatrical screenings of our short film line up, or to enjoy them on our Video On Demand platform. If you are unable to join us at the award-winning Nova Cinema, that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun. Get a Hybrid or Online pass to see all of the short films as well as our filmmaker panels.
IN-PERSON ONLY PASSES
Our range of passes allow visitors the flexibility to attend the entire festival, single days or just individual screenings. All screenings operate on a first come, first served basis, so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.

how to redeem your In-Person Only pass

Select your desired option and click the 'Buy Pass' button and complete the payment process.

After checkout you will receive your e-ticket via the email address given.

When attending the festival, present your purchased pass (either printed out or on your phone) to the staff at the on-site information desk to receive your wristband for admittance to screenings and events.

Single Screening Tickets
If purchasing a Single Screening Ticket, let the SSFF staff at the on-site information desk know which Showcase you would like to see and they will issue a one-time pass for that Showcase, which will be checked at the auditorium entrance.

The In-Person Only passes do not grant any access to the online features or content.
​
Please also be advised that only the Our World of Wonder showcase is suitable for children and some of the themes and depictions in some of the films in the other showcases may be distressing. Depending on the ratings given to particular films, you may be asked for ID to ensure that you are the appropriate age before being granted admission.

Online & HYBRID (In Person & Online) PASSES
Our online and hybrid passes allow festival-goers to fully take advantage of everything our platform has to offer. The SSFF - Online Pass gives users on-demand access to our festival line-up and filmmaker panels from 9th October 2023 until 29th October 2023. The holder of a Hybrid pass can take advantage of all of this as well as the in-person theatrical experience.

Return to this page and select the appropriate 'In-Person Only Pass' from the selection above.

Complete the payment process outlined in the 'In-Person Only Pass' redemption instructions above. At checkout your order will automatically be discounted to £0.00.

Follow the remaining pass redemption instructions for the 'In-Person Only Pass' to attend the in-person screenings and events or proceed to the Showcase page to access the library of short films and filmmaker panels from 9th October 2023 until 29th October 2023.
